Response

Response
Dominique Perry
To home this may concern,
My name is Dominique Perry a college undergraduate from The University of Akron. I am writing this letter in response to the young man’s cry for help. I have no resources that can guarantee a job in his profession. However I can provide tactful approaches to job hunting that could allow the young man to become more of a potential candidate to employers. I noticed several grammar errors and unnecessary punctuation marks, his thoughts or ideas where unorganized, and his spelling of certain words where horrific. I will touch on these three main topics only because my concern for this young man has grown deep within my soul.
My first point of concern for the young man is his grammar. When typing a letter or even talking to someone you need to present yourself with common sense. Dictionary.com states that the definition of “sense” is a faculty or function of the mind. This in my own words means, focusing on what you are saying or doing at the particular time a task is being done. Practice doing you best at all times, even if it is an informal letter or setting. This will make it easier to do what is expected of you when what is expected is forced upon you.
My second rule of thumb for the young man is to generate organized thoughts. When asking anyone for help bee specific in what your needs are. Let people know that you are in need of a job and ask if maybe they can look over your resume. Leave out all of the extra scenarios of what happened. You are looking for help do not complain about what is inevitable.
Lastly, know who you are writing to or for. In other words know your audience. Make sure everything is spelled correctly. The one time you attempt to make a sloppy effort, or a confused approach on anything you will be criticized and ridiculed. Make sure you state your claim and use correct punctuation especially if asking for someone to help you. That person could be going out on a limb for you, so always do your best.
In all, these few topics could help the young college graduate receive a high paying job in any field or profession of choice. Using proper grammar, staying focused and organized, and knowing your audience are just a small number of characteristics that any potential employer may look for. I send my best wishes to the young man and hope that my words of wisdom could steer him in the right direction to finding a job.
